Ricardo Lopez Ortiz was born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
His Illustration work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration. He's most known for his work on Ghost-Maker, The Pull, Killboy, Zero, WOLF, Civil War II: Kingpin, Totally Awesome Hulk, Weapon X and Hit-Girl.
