Kerry Gammill

Kerry Gammill grew up in Ft. Worth Texas and began drawing at a young age. His early 
art was inspired mostly by the monster movies he watched on TV at every opportunity. 
He began his professional art career in 1978 joining the roster of artists at Marvel 
Comics, then eventually DC where his SUPERMAN work gained international acclaim. Kerry has illustrated some of the most prominent series in comics including ACTION COMICS, SUPERMAN, TEEN TITANS, FANTASTIC FOUR, UNCANNY X-MEN, SPIDER-MAN, STAR WARS
POWERMAN AND IRON FIST, PUNISHER, CONAN, and SHE-HUlK amongst many more.
In the mid-'90s Kerry also contributed designs and/or storyboards for many sci-fi movies and TV shows including VIRUS, PHANTOMS, 
SPECIES II, THE OUTER LIMITS, STARGATE SG1, DREAMCATCHER, ALIEN VS. 
PREDATOR, TREMORS - THE SERIES, G.I.JOE: VALOR VS. VENOM and the video 
game AREA 51.  Vanguard Productions published "KERRY GAMMILL'S DRAWING MONSTERS AND 
HEROES FOR FILM AND COMICS" which went into several printings. He also wrote 
and co-edited the award-winning book THE FAMOUS MONSTER MOVIE ART OF 
BASIL GOGOS. 
In 2010, inspired by his love of classic horror comics, Gammill returned to comics as the
publisher, editor-in-chief and art director of Monsterverse Entertainment which produced
critically acclaimed horror comics like BELA LUGOSI'S TALES FROM THE GRAVE and 
FLESH AND BLOOD. Gammill's other horror work includes cover illustrations for
magazines such as FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND and MONSTERS FROM 
THE VAULT and for books such as THE CREATURE CHRONICLES and KEEP 
WATCHING THE SKIES, the definitive book on 1950s sci-fi movies. 
Today Gammill is working on various projects for Legendary Comics
